Alyssa’s Journey: Bringing Heart to ThrIVe Wheeling

Alyssa’s story began in the close-knit community of Cameron, West Virginia, where she graduated sixth in her class at Cameron High School in 2008. Driven by a passion for learning and helping others, she ventured to West Virginia University, earning dual degrees in Secondary Education and Biology by 2013. Those years sparked her love for guiding others, whether through teaching or nurturing.

Her path wove through classrooms and homes, each experience shaping her gift for connection. As a student teacher, Alyssa worked with children from Pre-K to 12th grade, finding joy in their curiosity and growth. Later, as an in-home caregiver and personal assistant for three years, she brought comfort and care to those who needed it most. With CPR and First Aid certifications in hand, Alyssa’s ability to create trust and safety became her hallmark.

Joining ThrIVe Wheeling in 2025 felt like coming home. “I love the environment here,” she shares. “It’s about building relationships with our clients and helping them achieve their goals through services like Moxi, Aerolase, and Hydrafacial—my absolute favorites.” These treatments reflect her commitment to helping others feel confident and radiant.

In St. Clairsville, Alyssa shares a vibrant life with her partner, Jason, a fellow ThrIVe team member, and their three children, Dmitri, Aurora, and Leo. When she’s not at ThrIVe, you might catch her swaying to the rhythm at a concert or soaking up the beauty of the outdoors, where she feels most free.
