Jason Troyan

Jason’s journey to joining the ThrIVe Wheeling team has been anything but ordinary. Originally from Martins Ferry, Ohio, he took a bold leap early in his life. After being accepted to the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy in northern Michigan—the world’s premier arts boarding school—he immersed himself in a diverse, creative environment. There, he honed his musical talents and discovered his passion for piano performance, while also exploring vocal performance, choir, and even creative writing. By 1997, he had graduated with honors, earning a place on the Dean’s List.

But Jason’s pursuit of knowledge didn’t stop at high school. He later attended West Texas A&M University, where he majored in Music Therapy, before continuing his education at Belmont College’s RN program. Along the way, Jason also made it a point to gain certifications like CPR and Basic Life Support, further solidifying his commitment to helping others in a variety of ways.

Jason’s experiences are what set him apart. He has traveled all across North America and Europe, performing music in 12 different countries. These adventures gave him the unique opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life and backgrounds, broadening his understanding of others and enriching his personal growth.

When Jason joined the ThrIVe team in 2025, he found an environment that aligned perfectly with his personal philosophy. His favorite part of working at ThrIVe? “The vibes, baby!” He loves the energy and camaraderie that flows through the team and the people they serve.

Outside of work, Jason’s personality shines even brighter. A true renaissance man, he’s not just an artist and traveler, but also a whiz in the kitchen, a black belt in karaoke, and a PhD-level competitor in Trivial Pursuit. He resides in Saint Clairsville with his partner, Alyssa, and Dmitri, Aurora, and Leo.

With his diverse background and positive attitude, Jason brings an invaluable perspective to ThrIVe, helping others grow, learn, and thrive alongside him.
