Hunter Klempa

Meet Hunter Klempa, RN

Hunter brings over 10 years of healthcare experience to ThrIVe Wheeling — a journey that started at just 19 years old. She spent two years as a Medical Assistant, four years as a Surgical Technician, and five years as an RN and Assistant Manager at an outpatient surgical center before joining our team in 2026. Hunter also works PRN at Select Specialty Hospital, a Long Term Acute Care Hospital in Wheeling, and brings five years of management experience to everything she does.

Hunter knew she wanted to be a nurse since she was 7 years old, watching her mom suit up in scrubs to go be a boss in the ICU and ER. Today, she loves the more relaxed side of healthcare — the chance to slow down, really talk with patients and clients, and help people feel their best every single day.

Outside of ThrIVe, Hunter is married (her anniversary is on Halloween 👻) and is mom to a 4-year-old daughter named Sutton. She also has two German Shepherds, Karma and Ranger — her bonus children in every way. When she’s not working, you’ll find her reading a good book, relaxing outside with her dogs, or rewatching Supernatural for the thousandth time.

Hunter says her own daughter inspires her more than almost anything else — kids have a way of pushing you to think beyond the norm. She believes everyone could learn something from spending time around toddlers: how to stop taking life so seriously, and how to find joy in the smallest, most mundane moments.

What motivates Hunter most is the ripple effect of a single interaction. A kind word from a stranger can shift the whole direction of someone’s day — and she wants to be that person for every patient and client she meets. Whether it’s introducing someone to a service that changes their life or simply making them smile, that’s what makes a great day in her book.

Her favorite ThrIVe services? She’s a firm believer that daily sauna sessions could change the world — and if you can follow that with a facial, well, that might just be as close to heaven as it gets on earth. In a world that moves too fast, Hunter loves helping people slow down and relax.
